Gliclazide, the active ingredient, stimulates insulin release from pancreatic β-cells, reduces hepatic glucose output, and facilitates calcium transport across β-cell membranes.
✔️ Dosage & Administration of Comprid XR 30
- Initial dose: 40-80 mg daily, increased up to 320 mg daily if necessary. Administer before meals.
- Modified release tablets: 1-4 tablets (max 120 mg) once daily at breakfast, adjusted based on response.
- Always take with water and after a meal.
- Follow dose adjustments for combination therapy.
